Sexual satisfaction is an important indicator of sexual health and is strongly associated with relationship satisfaction. However, research exploring lay definitions of sexual satisfaction has been scarce. We present thematic analysis of written responses of 449 women and 311 men to the question "How would you define sexual satisfaction, dear reader ?

Sexual stimulation is any stimulus that leads to, enhances and maintains sexual arousal, and may lead to orgasm. Although sexual arousal may arise without physical stimulation, achieving orgasm usually requires physical sexual stimulation. Such as touching your private areas, right? Romantic orientation is also known as affectional orientation, romantic orientation generally describes the gender identities of the people, if any, a person most wants to: fall in love with be around all the time let their guard down around be emotionally intimate with.
